What Your Deposit Is Protected Against
Projects Not Being Started
If your project never gets started within a reasonable time frame, your deposit is protected in full.
14-Day Cooling-Off Period
Change your mind within 14 days of paying and your full deposit is returned to you by bank transfer unless the waiver has been signed.
Delays, Illness or Bereavement
If your tradesperson is confirmed as delaying your project beyond excess, we bring in another trusted team to complete your original contract - and the original tradesperson is removed from our membership for life.
Cover Until Work Begins
Protection runs until the Contractors Contract is Active (or the 1st day of works begins). Once work commences, the cover is honoured and your contract protection is complete.
How It Works
When you pay a deposit through the Deposit Protect service for your landscaping project, your money is safeguarded. The cover runs from the moment you pay right up until the contracted landscaper arrives on site to start - so your project starts, or your money comes back.
